Ethical Commitment

The project is carried out in line with the highest ethical standards and the applicable EU, international and national law on ethical principles. The beneficiaries commit to and ensure the respect of basic EU values (such as respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and human rights, including the rights of minorities).

Ethical standards will also be central to the pilot cases, ensuring a safe, respectful and open environment for collaboration, and ensuring that partner’s privacy, security and IP are assured. All research and project activities, whether held in EU member states or other countries (Switzerland, Iceland), will comply with GDPR and with other EU and local/national law in each of the countries in which we operate. All activities conducted in Switzerland and Iceland comply with EU law and ethical standards.
